Agreed, and you have my eternal thanks for introducing me to her solo work.
Have you heard her new album? I like it very much, her voice feels much deeper and heavier (the instrumentation also) and there’s a ferocity to it that really gets me.
I didn’t know! So thank you again. I can’t believe it’s been out since September. I just bought it on her Bandcamp page and it’s so good. Definitely heavier sounding. It’s like the other side of the coin from Some Heavy Ocean.
Have you heard this Swedish pagan psych band Goat? I just downloaded this album of theirs and it’s fantastic.
(I’ve been laid up for weeks after surgery for a fractured hip so musical distractions are particularly welcome!)
I’ve never heard of them but am listening to them now and finding them to be my favorite shade of psychedelia. Thank you for them.
I hope you are doing well post-surgery.
